It’s nearly that time of year – Students’ Union Election time! Are you interested in taking a year out to represent your fellow students, get a great experience and get paid? If so, why not consider running for one of our 4 full-time officer positions.

If you know a fellow student, who you think would be great, why not Nominate A Mate. If you nominate a friend, we will contact them to give them more information on the positions, and to see if they would be interested in running. Click HERE to nominate

Teams Site  

The SU Elections will be fully online this year. We have set up a Teams site and it is from here that you will see all of the election campaigning, get information on the candidates, and watch the annual hustings/candidates’ speeches. It is only holding nomination information at the moment, but we do expect to have lots more activity on it from the close of nominations on the 12th of March – this is when all the fun begins.

E-Voting: 

E-voting has come to GMIT! We have engaged the services of Mi-Voice to facilitate the voting this year. Voting week is between March 22 – 26, and during this week all full-time students will receive an e-mail with a private link to cast their vote.

Nominations Open on Monday, 1st March and close on Friday, 12th March at 2pm SHARP.  The link for nominations will be sent prior to the opening of nominations on 1st March.
