This is the core of the campaign and with incredible prizes on offer, there is every incentive to get involved or get a team together (6 members max – creative team name optional). All the aspects of the challenge are explained on the kickstart Tab on GMITSULife. All you need to do is get moving, keep your teammates motivated, take on as many of the challenges as possible, send in the evidence of completed challenges and watch the points pile up in the battle to win a Fitbit Versa for each team member.
If you choose to take on the challenge alone the overall individual winner will win a pair of Apple Airpods. Just by entering you are in with a chance to win a €100 Lifestyle Sports Voucher!
For further info and to take part in the challenge you need to join the Get GMIT Moving section in Kickstart21 on GMIT SU Life or email susportsoffice@gmit.ie with questions.
Get Outside
The big challenge we are all facing is too much screen time so find a way to get outside! You will be amazed what a little bit of fresh air can do for you. Yes, we are restricted to exercising no more than 5KM from home but no doubt there are some amazing places within that 5KM. Take a picture of your favourite place to escape and upload it on social media using the #KickstartGMIT and we will have weekly prizes of €50 Lifestyle Sports Vouchers for the best shots. If you’re not on social media – that’s cool, just email your picture to susportsoffice@gmit.ie.
For further info and to participate you need to join the Get Outside section in Kickstart21 on GMIT SU Life.
Get Walking
In keeping with our 21-day campaign, Sport Ireland have their own 21-day walking challenge that we are linking up with. Simply download their walking app through (getirelandwalking.ie) or in the Google Play / Apple store and follow the challenge. Simply download the app and take on the challenge to walk 30 minutes each day for 21 consecutive days!
Submit your screenshots or tracking evidence to susportsoffice@gmit.ie to prove your completion of the challenge by February 18th and be in with a chance of winning a GMIT Falcons pack to the value of €150.
